So here are the statistics from the first wave of our kidding season:
13 does kidded from 2/25 through 3/3
26 kids born: 9 bucks/17 does
1 set of quads, 3 sets of triplets, 4 sets of twins and 5 singles
3 LaManchas, 12 Experimental/Grades, 11 Oberhasli
All 26 are AI babies

Kidding has started. Two does fresh so far 3 bucks and two does.

Back in September I did 18 AI breedings. We had our yearly vet visit and we performed 17 ultrasounds today. 15 are confirmed bred. Now to wait until February to see what happens.

The second new arrival came home today, Cream-Of-Kansas’ SD Apex AB2248190. A long anticipated son of the Spotlight sale Buck that I lost too young. I had him collected and sent some straws to TeCoa, thankfully, as my tank was stolen during our move cross state. I want to thank TeCoa and Sharon in getting him to me in good shape. It will be nice to bring the genetics back in as I lost my last Slick daughter last summer.
