Who wants to be a part of one of the longest standing teams at PLSR? Big Mama’s is the place to be. This is our 33rd year and we are currently accepting sponsors for the PLSR BBQ Cookoff in September. We are looking for thing like a tent sponsor, meat sponsor, bar sponsor or just sponsors in general. We take any big or small. We would love for you to join our family.

Another cookoff and another great time had by all. It started off really good and then the rain decided to come. It rained a lot in just a short time and one of our tents succumbed  to the rain, then the generator decided to not put out power so Thursday night was a little toasty in the mh. Friday morning a generator showed up and all was good in the world again.
We worked on on Friday and Saturday and turned in some of the best products we have turned in. We received 3 & 5 in fajitas and the top 25 in all other categories out of 52 teams. I am very proud of all the team work it took this weekend. To say this is an amazing team is an understatement.
We also got to celebrate our own Tammy Boyd for her birthday.
Now it’s time to get ready for the next one. The Pasadena Livestock Show and Rodeo in September. Who wants to join us?

Well there’s another Pasadena Strawberry Festival in the books and what a great one it was. Thanks to all the amazing friends and family that came out the see us. It was a great time had by all and I even went to the meet and greet for Tracy Lawerence!! (He was the very first concert Larry ever took me to and I was able to tell him Larry and my story. Thanks so much JR and Michelle!)

We placed in the top 25 in every category and took a couple of walks for some trophies.

This is the most amazing team that anyone could ask for because we are not just a team, but an amazing family that I am so proud of. You all made Larry very proud this weekend.

Well, we had another great weekend at the Sylvan Beach Festival Cookoff and want to say THANK YOU to all the friends and family that came out to support us. We had a great time and walked away with some hardware. We are very proud of our team and all the hard work this weekend and Larry is too. Team work makes the dream work!

Laporte Livestock Show and Rodeo Cookoff was another success for Big Mama’s. We had an amazing time as always and walked away with hardware and placed in the top ten in almost every category and there were a lot.
The hardware we brought home was….

5th place Beans

Larry is so proud of our team. You all made him so proud!!

Our next one is coming up quick. It will be the Sylvan Beach Festival April 24-25. Hopefully everyone comes out again for some great food, great drinks and even better people.
