At the end of a market the other day, I felt something I couldn’t quite put into words.

In fact, it’s taken me until today to figure it out.

It’s just…I see you.

Some of you are happy. Some are sad. Some are struggling.

It’s a privilege to see you.

I’m grateful you share pieces of yourselves with me. Sometimes it’s a laugh. Sometimes it’s a tear. Other times it’s your heart. And I don’t take any of it lightly.

This whole market vendor thing has taught me a thing or two.

When we open ourselves up to each other, hold space, or even just offer a smile, those small moments matter more than we realize.

Most people find Rad Gal at a market before they know the story behind it. 😊

So here’s a little more about me…

I started Rad Gal because I loved riding bikes, drinking great coffee…and wanted to share both with the world.

I’m now in my 4th year of roasting coffee and designing colorful cycling gear. What started as a passion project has grown into something bigger than I ever imagined.

It has been an incredible journey connecting with you, hearing your stories, and sharing this adventure together.

Whether you found Rad Gal at a market, through a friend, online, or honestly have no idea how you ended up here 😂 …thank you for being part of the fun. 😃🧡

There was a moment this weekend that stopped me in my tracks. 👀

These two ladies rode up to my booth representing Rad Gal from head to toe.

The colorful gear caught my attention, but what stood out was what it reflected.

Women out there building skills. Gaining confidence. Showing up. Supporting each other.

If you’ve ever worn Rad Gal gear, shared a post, grabbed a bag of coffee, stopped by my booth, or simply cheered from the sidelines…you’ve helped build that kind of community.

And that’s pretty darn cool. 🧡

In the middle of a ride in Cuyuna on Saturday, things didn’t feel right.

Strong winds. Sirens blaring in the distance. And what looked like one singular cloud sitting in the middle of an otherwise perfectly blue sky.

Once I reached a spot on the trail with a clearer view, it became obvious.

A massive plume of smoke rising north of the rec. area.

Wildfire.

My heart sank knowing people’s homes and lives were on the line.

In these moments, you become fully aware of the power of nature. And the courage of the people willing to run toward danger to protect others.

Firefighters, first responders, EMTs, DNR, and so many others putting themselves in harm’s way for complete strangers.

Mr. Rogers once said, “Look for the helpers.”

This weekend, there were a whole lot of helpers.

Thinking of everyone affected by the fire and those still out there fighting it. ❤️
