$5 Friday goes out to Crash.

Crash was a bottle baby that TCVWV rescued with 10 other kittens dumped in a carrier. She has not had an easy start to life so far, but with your help, we are hoping to make it better. Crash currently has an eye that needs removed and has developed a polyp that is constricting her breathing. She needs all the help we can provide to remove her polyp and eye and provide all her necessary medical treatments.

Every $5 will help Crash receive the medical services she desperately needs.

4 chicks have hatched as of this morning and 2 more are getting very close!! I’m loving seeing all the maran crosses!

As of bed time we have 3 chicks hatched and 1 that has pipped. Tomorrow is technically hatch day but they were eager to come out. 🤣 tomorrow our Cayuga eggs go into lock down so we checked them for the last time and only 6 of them were viable sadly. We had several power outages from storms during these incubation days so unfortunately that is probably the biggest factor.

We have chicks set to start hatching tomorrow they are barnyard mix but the hens they are laid from are Marans, Easter eggers and one unknown(we have a few breeds that lay the same color). The roosters could be a jersey giant, speckled Sussex, cream leg bar or barnyard mix.

We will post how many are available when they are finished hatching if you are interested they are 💰4️⃣ each. Depending on how many hatch i will post a deal for if they all go together.

They are straight run as we don’t do vent sexing.

Here is a photo of some of our barnyard mixes that the hens decided to hatch and some that were incubated enjoying some outside time with their mamas.
