ATTENTION🤩 Blended Critters Farm will be hosting its FIRST Fall Arts and Crafts Day on Sunday, November 6th from 1-3pm!🐐

We are allowing for 10 spots and the money from the event is going towards the cost of hay to get the animals through the winter!❄️

The event will last for two hours and include a horseshoe craft, a farm game, pony rides, and time spent feeding and petting the rest of the animals!

The cost for attendance will be $50 for the first child and $25 for ONE buddy/sibling they bring! In other words $75 for two kids to come and have some fall fun on the farm🐷

We are considering hosting a fall arts and crafts day on the farm! It would consist of kids being able to pick out and paint their own lucky horseshoe with tons of different colors, glitter, and rhinestones AND/OR carving a pumpkin with chickens (I’m sure most of you have seen this new trend)! After of course they would be able to spend time with all the animals on the farm!

Before I schedule this event I’m just wanting to gauge interest and see if anyone would be interested in signing their kids up?!

Did you know that we offer private farm tours? These can be either educational, or purely just for fun! Guests are able to learn and interact with the variety of animals here on the farm, give them treats, groom them, ride the horses, learn about how to care for them, etc! It’s time to formally introduce Blended Critters Farm two newest superstars! This is Bella (paint) and Rip (brown)! These two will be the mini horses responsible for the mini pony rides for Party Animals! They are super sweet, and ready to party🥳

Looking back to the very first field trip that came to Blended Critters Farm! The kids had a blast petting all the animals, giving them their favorite snacks, and learning a little bit about them! They also played an interactive game where they learned what’s safe and unsafe for horses to eat!

The farm is open for educational field trips, homeschool groups, private farm tours in additional to booking us for petting zoos and festivals!

I’d like to officially welcome the second kid born here on the farm! He is a F2 (second generation) mini Nubian buckling and was born on Friday the 13, which also just happens to be my birthday💚 His mom, Lindy, has been absolutely amazing and is taking very good care of her little man!

Looking for something fun to do with your family this weekend? Come out and see us this Saturday, April 23, from 9am until 3pm at Carolina Christian Academy for the craft show fundraiser for Embler Cemetery!

ALL of the Party Animals will be there including the mini pig, goats, bunnies, ducks, chickens, and maybe even one other special 4-legged guest!🐴

There will also be a carrot patch photo booth featuring super cute picture opportunities with our baby bunnies!💕🐰

There will be an admission cost to enter the Party Animal Petting Zoo, however all proceeds will either go back to the animals themselves or be donated to the cemetery to partake in the fundraiser!

The bunnies and chicks felt very special today with all the attention from our community at Denton’s Easter Eggstravaganza! 🐣🐰

Please come and see us at the 4th Annual Vintage Power Show from June 10-11 in Thomasville! Blended Critters Farm will be hosting the petting zoo and animal photo booth! And if that isn’t enough to catch your attention, there will also be live music, food, antique tractors and engines, vendors, various demonstrations, and tons of other attractions listed in the photo below!

All proceeds will go to benefit Carolina Christian Academy so bring your families for a fun-filled weekend!!!

Admission is only $5, but any and all donations are welcome!l and will go to the school.

EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT ALERT!!!!

Blended Critters Farm will now be offering mini photo sessions with bunnies and chicks for Easter!
💐🐰🐣🐰🐣💐
This offer is extended to photographers themselves, who are encouraged to bring their own clients, AND to individuals/families who would be asked to bring their photographer of choice to do their photo shoot!

The details are as follows:

•Photo shoots can be booked on the weekends starting February the 26/27 and going through April 9/10
•You can select an available time from 10:00am until 5:00pm
•Sessions can be ONE hour minimum and TWO hours maximum.

•Prices are:
🐰$25/hour for bunnies only
🐣$20/hour for chicks only
🐰🐣$40/hour for both bunnies and chicks
💕Additional $10 for providing the props/venue location for you.

•You also have the option for Blended Critters to bring the bunnies/Chicks to YOU at the venue of your choice for a small travel fee of $1.25 a mile with a $30.00 maximum!

We have BUNNIES on the farm! Blended Critters has a wide variety of bunnies that call it home! From a Flemish Giant, two Jersey Woolies, two pedigreed Rex rabbits, one Holland lop, and two lionlop babies, with MORE babies to come!

These bunnies can be a part of your petting zoo or pictures can be made with them during Easter, and if the timing is right, you may even be able to bring a baby bunny home with you once it has been weaned!

So as you can see, we have quite the little bun show here and would love for visitors to experience their unique personalities❤️

Today little miss Ladybug is one week old!❤️🐞

She spends the majority of her time in the house, yes…in the house because she has a small heart murmur and cannot regulate her body temperature as good as she should and the nights have been getting pretty cold around here!

She loves her play dates outside with her Mom though as you can see in the video!😂

Let’s welcome the newest member of Blended Critters Farm….Levi the standard donkey! He will have a very important job of protecting his herd of goats from predators! He is also a very gentle and sweet soul who loves attention and will also help me in teaching the public the big difference between horses and donkeys!

Let’s welcome the newest member of Blended Critters Farm! This critter may not be a typical farm animal but he will have an important role here. Felix is a corn snake! Now, before you immediately think “eewwww who would want a snake on their farm,” let me tell you a little bit about corn snakes:

They are non-venomous and constrictors, which means they squeeze their prey.
Corn snakes are naturally very docile and are most active during the day.
The name corn snake may have originated from the similarity of these markings to the checkered pattern of kernels of maize or Indian corn.

Right now Felix is only two years old and about two feet long, so he can only eat small mice.
Corn snakes in captivity can live to be in their 20’s!

Felix’s role will be to educate and bring awareness about the different roles and types of snakes. Not all snakes are deadly or aggressive, and some snakes even help keep rodents and “bad” snakes away! Overall, most people have only had negative experiences with snakes, so Felix wants to be around to teach everyone that he means no harm and will willingly be your friend!

Please note that it is important to learn the difference between venomous and nonvenomous snakes, this is not a recommendation to try and catch and hold wild snakes.

Today “Party Animals” was a part of two awesome events, an “after” Halloween jamboree and a birthday party! All the animals proudly wore their costumes had the best time celebrating!🧡
