My oldest has many different diagnoses and in neurodivergent. She is an amazing young woman that has some struggles. Her and I are very much alike in many ways, including being neurodivergent. My youngest, 12 going on 13, is a very energetic neurotypical teen that is almost always happy. My girls and I are slowly getting back into a regular routine after about 18ish months of what seems like waves
of chaos, learning, and exploring. I am at a point now where I want to get back to working, but in a different way. For almost 20 years (2000-2020) I was a CNA in several different areas of nursing in various states. I miss working the floor more than I could ever say, but life happens. I have dabbled in social selling off and on since about 2015, and that's how this page started in 2023. I took about an 18-month unexpected/unplanned hiatus from everything in 2024 due to several personal issues. I have decided that I miss working with others and helping others. I am starting to explore doing this a different way, though, and inviting you in on my journey. Because of Ari's sensitive skin and sensory processing, I still enjoy skincare. I also still love anything with goo smells....essential oil diffusers, candles, Scentsy, etc. I am still a social seller with Scentsy and Posh, however I am making this even bigger. I am on a journey now, exploring who I am, neurodivergent parenting while being neurodivergent in a house with a neurotypical teen as well, juggling a hectic schedule....all while working into a routine that also prioritizes self-care and mental health. I know I can't be the only one out there. I am rebuilding from the ground up, incorporating authenticity, tips, ideas, open conversation, and support for everyone that can finds themself on an unfamiliar journey. I honestly don't know how I do what I do exactly, or how I have managed everything on my plate, but I keep going. Until now, I have always kept going ONLY for my daughters. Children are amazing, beautiful, and teach us so much. But I also need to learn who I am beyond the title of 'MOM'....I want to create something for myself AFTER my girls become butterflies and fly on their own (but of course coming to visit often!). We are all more than just the title. And we deserve to be the reason we keep going. YOU are reason enough to keep going. So am I.....lets discover this together! https://www.facebook.com/groups/slothlifewithmelissavip/
