Great photo from the hummus party of comfort by one of the people who for a few hours,
Felt a little bit better. Also nice to simply have a photo of the full hummus meal package. This was really so special with the timing and how everything came together to make this happen. Feeling isolated feels like s**t! It was great to come together and feel s**tty together…with the hummus glueing us all together. I truly felt the duty for the first time in a while I am required as a hummus maker, and how the power of the hummus is such a force to to be reckoned with. How can this goop have this power? NOT FOR SALE (hummus Capara is vegan…I eat everything). Had a great hang today visiting Sam …plotting for something special for December…all I can say is it will be very exclusive, and the most “restaurant” hummus Capara experience (plus Sam doing all the meat stuff) yet, there will never be a hummus Capara restaurant, so these special parties will be the closest, and way better than a restaurant. Sam’s awesome Bed and Breakfast nestled in the beautiful mountains of Georgetown has a custom built, absolutely so over the top cool brick oven and he not only did fresh pita (which will be offered), literally baked and right out of the oven to the hummus, but also this delicious ground lamb in the oven, a classic on top of the hummus. He has this really cool green glass bowl I got to serve the hummus in. Anyway…more info on this special end of the year event soon…will be the craziest and most fun offering from hummus Capara yet, featuring a menu exclusive to this exclusive party. Tonight! Coming for you North Capitol Hill/uptown/whatever this area is called now…Hummus Party for the first time in this hip spot . Party starts at 6pm and ends at 9pm, hummus will be available until sell out (please help me sell out so I can go see at after). Only time hummus Capara is available this week. I don’t normally have hummus available for pickup on the weekend, rare opportunity due to doing a rare pop up last night on a Friday and having leftovers, please take advantage and share to let friends who want to obtain hummus Capara at a convenient time, and day. While it is true that hummus Capara has recently been in the denver post, and that apparently everyone in the area knows about hummus Capara, it is still a serious hustle and there are without a doubt more people who have heard about it than tried it. If you are one of these people who has been hearing the hype for a while, well, the leftovers from the pop ups are discounted, and just as good (I even did a test recently on a hummus meal that was made on a Tuesday and I consumed on a Saturday…people it was the same quality!!!…and I am harder on myself than anyone else…just being honest),so the leftovers are a great opportunity it’s for newbies to try, should you end up being disappointed by this so called “best hummus in denver”, that “everybody knows and is talking about”, at least you will have given me less money, it’s a win win!

(Please share, algorithm is being a child towards me, even if you aren’t coming, maybe someone who follows you and has no idea of this hummus party will want to)That’s right, the celebration of 3 years of people giving me money for the mystik goop continues tonight . Based off of the people who participated in the poll yesterday (thank you those who participate) regarding showing up tonight, it appears the majority of you answered “NO”. Never the less, I decided since it is my first time at this brewery, and first time in this area, I am going to give everyone the same opportunity to obtain hummus Capara and am making the full amount I normally do, something about suffering for your craft simply feels so satisfying and I guess I’m wired for it whether I like it or not. If I don’t see you tonight, heads up, hummus will only be available one time next week, Wednesday at , ordering info will be posted sometime over the weekend, another new spot for the hummus party. It was just over a year ago Tamir from (and now ) summoned me to his brewery to see what all the fuss was about with Hummus Capara and after truly profiling me from head to toe when I walked through the door with the hummus for him to try, with a look of “why are you wasting my time???!!!”, he took the lid off, took a serious sniff of it, ripped a piece of pita, wiped that s**t, put in his mouth, and i watched his frown turn upside down. He then scheduled what became the first of regular pop ups (the main way people obtain hummus Capara now)/hummus party and ever since then things have been going strong and there have been hummus parties almost every week in Denver, something most cities certainly do not have! So, for the third anniversary of hummus Capara, it makes sense to bring things back to the original home of the hummus party. I must say it was such a relief when Tamir offered to throw the first proper hummus party at since he actually knew what service I am offering/what I do, didn’t have to explain the concept of dining all around hummus. Of course it was also an honor to be asked by a middle eastern person to throw a hummus party (he even did the first review of the hummus not in English!). Just like the first proper hummus party a year ago, there will be bourekas again! However, this time by (Tamir), which didn’t exist a year ago, and in the form of the full bourekas experience (go to his page and click his post from yesterday to see what bourekas are all about). I know I made a 3 year anniversary post already, though I still want to say to you how much all of your support the past 3 years means to me hummus Capara legions. Whether you had the mystik goop shipped across the country to you, met up with me at a bizarre hour or location to obtain it when you were supposed to be locked inside your home, reported to me the hummus helping get you through withdrawal from smack, and of course all of you who simply gossiped about the hummus far and wide. I love you, thanks for helping me keep my favorite job (yes it is my only job). See you tonight!

Next week is gonna be serious for hummus parties. In addition to starting the week off on Monday with for the 3rd anniversary Hummus Capara party, has been so cool to invite me to throw a hummus party for the first time in a whole new part of town for Friday. Is this too much Hummus celebration for one week?…I think not! Still trying to make Friday pop ups more of a thing so if you are interested in having me crash your establishment with hummus, please comment, get in touch, or if you want me to crash your favorite place, tag them. I haven’t done two pop ups in one week in 9 months or something, this will be a real week to celebrate everyone coming together to wipe the mystik goop. Stay tuned for order link

One of the staple dishes of middle eastern cuisine I have not offered to the public yet (didn’t want to until I had eaten enough of it in the Middle East, like all the traditional dishes offered) is the classic dish “ful medames”, or simply just “ful”. Depending on where you are, you’ll get something similar to this. Unlike the ful I offer to top the hummus, this one isn’t just the ful seasoned, this is a straight up ful dish. Ful (fava beans) cooked until buttery soft (no canned s**t like a sissy) mixed with chickpeas, garlic, lemon, spices, tomato, and of course plenty of olive oil and parsley. This is total comfort food (and sibling to hummus), and all the elements really make for a rich, but so refreshing dish with the acid from the citrus and tomato cutting it and the drenching of olive oil making it so luxurious. It is a real drag I have only found this dish offered at maybe 5 restaurants in the greater denver metro area and every time it was obvious they were using canned ful that was undercooked as every time my stomach was wrecked. So, if you are interested in having some proper ful please like this post to give me an indication it’s worth offering. Same price (18 dollars) as the hummus meals, would be available for Friday curbside pickup, when the other special items are offered. Just feels wrong with what I do not offering a ful dish. Some people prefer over hummus actually, and to be honest, when there is a good ful, on certain days I get it. September hummus party tour begins tonight 6-sellout/9pm! Preordering ends (link in bio/story) at 2pm today sharp, after that only walkup availability (will post to my story if I’ve sold out). Next week back at (overland), on the 18th the official hummus Capara 3 year anniversary part at the home of the original hummus party in the history of the United States of America (go away posers, no one likes you) with possibly offering something special that definitely most of you have never had and without a doubt does not exist for sale in denver (hope to be proved wrong). After that on the 27th will be making a debut (thanks for taking the risk of hosting a bunch of hummus fiends!). I am currently waiting on some confirmations for Friday pop ups this month, so stay tuned. As always, if you are an establishment wanting to host me on a Friday (will probably help you make money, and you help me make money, what’s not to love, isn’t money everything in life?), please get in touch. Or, tag your favorite spot in the comments, or rant to them next time your there how they are acting a fool not to host a hummus party at their place (this happens a lot), they may be confused why anyone would want to come out just to eat hummus when there are no tots or corn dogs on the side, but whatever…let them be pleasantly surprised by the power of the hummus.
