🐝 A Little Update from Sweet Granite Farm 🍯🍇

If we’ve been a little quieter on social media this past month, it’s because life at Sweet Granite Farm has been anything but quiet!

We’ve been harvesting and bottling honey 🍯, picking grapes 🍇, cutting trees 🌳, working around the farm, and doing a whole lot of planning, planning… and more planning for what’s ahead.

We’ve also taken time away when it mattered most — celebrating weddings, saying goodbye to loved ones at funerals, spending time with family, and simply enjoying life and the moments that remind us why we started this journey in the first place. ❤️

Behind the scenes, we’ve been working hard and dreaming big about the future of Sweet Granite Farm. Some things take time, and there’s still plenty of work ahead, but it’s exciting watching those plans slowly begin to take shape.

And fall is right around the corner! 🍂🐝 We’re putting together our fall market and event calendar and will be sharing it very soon. We’re looking forward to seeing so many of our returning customers—and hopefully meeting plenty of new ones along the way!

Thank you for continuing to follow our journey, support our family farm, buy our honey and handcrafted products, and cheer us on.

After an incredible family vacation, we’re excited to be back and doing what we love! It’s been a little while since our last post (Memorial Day!), and we’re looking forward to seeing so many familiar faces again.

Today we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Their courage and service will never be forgotten. ❤️🤍💙

Nothing better than spending time in the bee yard with family. 🐝🍯

We spent part of the day adding more honey supers to the hives as the bees continue bringing in nectar and building up strong this spring. It’s always exciting seeing the colonies grow and prepare for honey season!

I also had a little helper with me today, my nephew Will. He did an awesome job helping smoke the hives and learn more about the bees. Moments like these are what make beekeeping so special… passing it down to the next generation. ❤️🐝

Finally got back into the hives yesterday and it felt good to be out there again 🐝☀️

The girls have been busy drawing out some beautiful comb and getting things moving right along. Always amazing to see how quickly they build when everything lines up just right.

Spring is doing its thing, and we’re right there with it. Looking forward to watching these hives continue to grow over the next few weeks!
