Our annual release of Rare Trout returns September 12! This Extra Pale Ale is a staff and fan favorite and will be available in draft and in 4-packs to go.

To celebrate we have teamed up with Topo Designs on a limited edition Cerebral Brewing bag and will also be releasing several other limited edition apparel pieces. Time to gear up for the end of summer adventures around the rivers of Colorado.

Rare Trait has taken many different forms over the years, but Ripe Trait is one of our favorite offspring. This is the fourth time we’ve released it, utilizing 550 pounds of Cresthaven peaches from our friends at Bella Bolettino Farms in Palisade.

This family farm has grown and delivered the peaches for Ripe Trait since 2020, driving them down to us themselves each year. Once the peaches arrive, our team spends about six hours halving and pitting the entire lot by hand before adding them to the beer.

They’re exceptionally juicy peaches, which means the whole team is covered in peach juice by the end of the shift. More importantly, all that fresh fruit brings a surprisingly subtle peach character to the beer; a nuanced take on Rare Trait that drinks like a product of the season.

Ripe Trait returns Today 8/28 - only in our taprooms and only on draft.
