🧶 NEW THIS JANUARY — BEGINNER KNITTING! 🧶

Start the New Year learning something new at Cedar Gate Farm Academy!

Our Beginner Knitting: Make Your First Hat class is a four-week series designed for complete beginners. No knitting experience necessary! Over the four weeks, you’ll learn basic knitting techniques, how to read patterns, how to fix common mistakes, and work toward completing your very first handmade hat. 🧶🤍

📅 Sundays — January 10, 17, 24 & 31
⏰ 3:00–5:00 PM
🧑 Ages 13+ | Beginners
💲 $125 for the full four-week series

Knitting needles and practice yarn will be provided. When it’s time to begin your hat, you’ll choose and purchase your own yarn so you can make it in a color and style you love!

We’re keeping this class small to allow plenty of individual instruction, so space is limited.

✨ Grab a friend, learn a new skill, and spend your Sunday afternoons knitting with us!

🍂 BARNYARD KIDS IS BACK THIS FALL! 🐐🐓🐑

We’re excited to announce our 8-WEEK FALL BARNYARD KIDS PROGRAM at Cedar Gate Farm!

This is one full 8-week session, giving kids the chance to really dig into farm life, build new skills, and spend plenty of time with our animals.

🌾 Thursdays, September 10 – October 29
⏰ 4:45–6:15 PM
🐓 Ages 6–12
🍂 8 weeks — $220 per child

Throughout the 8 weeks, kids will learn real farming skills, care for and work with our farm animals, learn about growing food, participate in hands-on activities, and so much more. And of course, we’ll wrap up our fall session with a Halloween party! 🎃

Spots are VERY limited, so early registration is encouraged!

Come spend your fall afternoons on the farm and learn what it takes to be a farmer. ❤️

Barnyard Kids at Cedar Gate is an enriching eight-week after-school program designed for children aged 6 and above. 🍞 Sourdough 101 is Back! 🍞

Registration is now open for our November Sourdough 101 three-session series at Cedar Gate Farm!

Offered only once a year, this hands-on class takes you through the entire sourdough process from start to finish. By breaking the class into three sessions, you'll have time to learn, practice, ask questions, and truly understand the art of sourdough baking.

Over three classes, you'll learn:
🥖 How to create and maintain a healthy starter
🥖 Feeding schedules and troubleshooting
🥖 Mixing, folding, fermentation, and shaping
🥖 Scoring and baking techniques
🥖 How to confidently bake sourdough at home

This is a deep dive into sourdough, not just a demonstration. You'll be actively involved every step of the way and will leave with the knowledge, starter, and skills needed to make your own beautiful loaves.

Join us in November and be baking your own fresh sourdough bread by Thanksgiving!

Space is limited and this class fills quickly each year.
