☕🌊 A little coastal coffee shop discovery!

Stopped by Coasties Roasties in Newport for a chai tea latte and found the cutest little spot with nautical charm, local artwork, and genuinely friendly staff.

Was the chai quite spicy enough for this Coastal Goddess? Not quite. 😉 But that’s the beauty of discovering new places—there’s always something else to try!

I’m a big believer in supporting small, independently owned businesses, and this one deserves another visit. I’m thinking a raspberry mocha next time! ☕❤️

🌙 A Little Friday Night Magic in Newport 🌊💜

Two weeks into a new temporary opportunity, and tonight I traded spreadsheets for good food, new conversations, and a little coastal nightlife.

A Guava Lava cocktail, some delicious tacos, a few new friendships in the making, and I even came home with a ridiculously soft throw blanket! 😁

But the real treat was stepping outside to see the moon shining over Newport’s fishing fleet. Even spotted the F/V Chelsea Rose tucked in among the boats. 🛥️🌙

Sometimes it’s the little unexpected moments that remind me how grateful I am to call the Oregon Coast home.

A beautiful ending to a busy week. 🌊💜

Le Petit Bistro de la Plage 🧅🧀👩‍🍳🌊

Tonight’s tiny coastal kitchen creation: homemade French Onion Soup Quesadillas!

Inspired by a delicious treat from a fellow foodie, I caramelized onions, added Swiss and Gruyère cheese, a little thyme, and chicken for extra protein.

Crispy, cheesy, sweet, savory, and absolutely worth making again! 😋

Eddie has already requested a table for one. 🐶🤣

🌅 From sunrise to sunset… before we lose our minds. 🎶🌊

Some days are busy, some are messy, and some remind us to slow down long enough to enjoy the beauty around us.

From the first light over the coast to the last golden rays on the water, there’s always something to be grateful for.

A little gratitude this morning for better sleep, a body that’s getting stronger, and a trainer who keeps challenging me.

30-pound dumbbells in EACH hand for my farmer’s carry. That’s 60 pounds of progress!

And with Pat Benatar’s All Fired Up playing, how could I not feel a little fired up myself? 🔥

🦀 Coastal Goddess Crab Benedict Bowl 🍳🌊

Who needs an English muffin when you’ve got rice?

I’ve discovered that I actually prefer my Dungeness crab Benedict served over a warm bed of rice. It’s simple, satisfying, and a delicious way to use leftover hollandaise!

What’s in my bowl:
🦀 Fresh Oregon Dungeness crab
🍚 Warm rice
🍳 A poached egg
🍋 A drizzle of hollandaise
✨ Freshly cracked black pepper

Layer the rice, pile on the crab, add your egg, and finish with hollandaise. That’s it!

A little coastal comfort food, made right at home. 💜

And a special thank-you to my favorite fishmonger at Barnacle Bill’s, who always makes sure my crab container is generously filled. ☺️

A Little Sunset Gratitude 🌅🌊💜

Life has been moving at a pretty fast pace lately, but tonight the Oregon Coast gave me a reason to slow down.

No deadlines, no expectations, no place I need to be. Just the sound of the ocean, the last golden light of the day, and a moment to appreciate where I call home.

Grateful for these little reminders that even on the busiest days, there’s still beauty waiting just outside my door.
