Lightning Bug Nights is coming this week and next. Join us for one of the most magical nights of the year at our farm.

This event provides guest with an up close nature experience with the beautiful Lightning Bugs in our organic flower field. Guest may take personal photos, enjoy painting a watercolor, lawn games, and a nature presentation. A portable restroom will be available.

Ticket sales will be for a parking spot. Each parking spot includes up to 6 guest. Parking spot is $35.00. This is a limited admission event (non-Refundable). No gate sales will be available. Lightning Bug Nights gates will open at 7:45 P.M and last until 11 P.M (beautiful sunset is about 9pm). In the event of inclement weather, date will be rescheduled.

There are mowed paths and places to put out your folding chairs or blankets. We offer lawn games, and a watercolor painting project. You can even bring your own picnic. Each ticket is for a parking space and includes up to 6 guest in your car. Come experience one of the most magical times at Lightning Bug Valley.

We shoveled compost today and sowed a few thousand zinnias. We do all our planting by hand and chemical free. My favorite tools are a shovel and a pitchfork. Then Mother Nature let loose as the last shovel hit the ground. The best timing ever.
