🍂🍞 HAPPY SOURDOUGH SATURDAY FROM HOLLYHOCK FARM STAND! 🌻❤️

It’s a chilly Iowa Saturday, but the market is OPEN and we’ve got lots of goodies waiting for you! 🥶🍪

I’ll tell you what, yesterday was one of those days! 😂 I was so busy that my sourdough starter wasn’t looking its best, and I honestly wasn’t sure I was going to pull off bread this week. But guess what? I DID, and the loaves turned out BEAUTIFUL! 🙌🍞

Here’s what’s waiting for you at the stand today!

🍞 Cheddar Ranch Sourdough — No bacon this week, just delicious cheddar and ranch!

🌽🔥 Spicy Cornbread — Perfect for those who like a little kick!

🌽🧈 Homemade Plain Cornbread — Perfect with a big bowl of chili on a chilly day!

🍪 LOTS OF COOKIES! We’ve got plenty of sweet treats to satisfy those weekend cravings!

🧴 Beef Tallow is BACK! We’ve had people asking, and it’s back on the shelves this week!

☕🥤 A few beverages are available! With the chilly weather, we skipped the cooler this week, so you’ll find them right on the counter.

✈️❤️ AND WE HAVE A LITTLE ENTREPRENEUR IN THE MAKING!

My 7-year-old grandson has decided to try his hand at entrepreneurship by making origami airplanes! And let me tell you, this little guy does a great job! They’re handmade, and YES, they actually fly! 😂✈️

So if you see his airplanes at the stand, give our youngest little entrepreneur some encouragement. He’s learning what it means to create something with his own two hands, and Grandma couldn’t be prouder! ❤️

It’s time to introduce you to one of the hardworking ladies behind our farm-fresh eggs at Hollyhock Farm Stand!

Everyone, meet Beauty Pollen! 🐓❤️

Beauty Pollen is part of 6-year-old Bella’s flock over at Losee Farms, and judging by these pictures, she’s not afraid to strike a pose! 📸😂

With her beautiful feathers, fancy little hairdo, and that look that says, “Excuse me, are you taking MY picture?” we’re thinking Beauty Pollen knows she’s something special! 👑🐔

And let’s talk about that name! Beauty Pollen! 🌸 Only a 6-year-old could come up with something so perfectly adorable!

Bella helps feed and care for her chickens, collects their eggs, and helps get them ready for our market each week. She’s learning that being a little farmer comes with some big responsibilities! ❤️

Happy Sunday! 🌻 We’re open and the stand is stocked with lots of goodies this morning!

🍁 Maple-frosted cinnamon rolls (one of my favorites!)
🧁 Blueberry lemon crumble muffins
🍞 Pumpkin pecan cinnamon swirl bread

We also have all your favorite snack mixes, buttery ranch crackers, party mix back in stock, spicy cracker mix, one bag of puppy chow, and just a couple churro mixes left. There are only two Halloween bucket bags left, too! Coffee cup sleeves and lip balm are available.
