Let’s talk about Dry feeding your starter 🩷

Why is it good to just dry feed ?

Stabilizing a Hungry Starter:
If your starter is thin and runny, meaning it's likely hungry, a dry feed can help it regain its thickness and become more active

Strengthening a Young Starter:
When you're first creating a starter, dry feeding can help it develop a stronger culture and peak more quickly

Preserving Starter:
When drying out an active starter, it can be preserved and stored for longer periods, essentially putting the yeasts and bacteria into a dormant state.
