What a wonderful evening dinner at Manna Food Co-op!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the first dinner in our Gather Around the Table Community Local Foods Dinner Series. It was such a special night of incredible food, local ingredients, music, and conversation shared around the table.

A huge thank you to Chef Andrea Baumgardner for creating such a thoughtful meal, to Buck’s Mill Brewing for the pairings, and to all of the local farms and producers whose food made its way onto the menu.

A very special thank you to Manna board members Chris Thorns and Geralyn Lyseng, who spent the evening helping serve our guests and made the whole night run so smoothly. We’re incredibly grateful for the time and care they put into making the evening a success.

And most of all, thank you West Central Initiative for helping fund the event and to everyone who came, shared a meal with us, and helped make our first dinner such a memorable one.

We’re already looking forward to gathering around the table again!

We’re excited to announce the first dinner in Manna Food Co-op’s new Community Local Foods Dinner Series, Gather Around the Table! This dinner series is sponsored by a grant from West Central Initiative!

Join us Saturday, August 29 at 7:00 p.m. for an intimate five course dinner right inside Manna Food Co-op eating area utilizing our new kitchen, and featuring acclaimed chef and cookbook author Andrea Baumgardner of BernBaum’s.

Andrea has created a special late summer menu celebrating ingredients from local farms and producers, with Buck’s Mill brews, live Eastern European klezmer music, and stories from the farmers behind the food.

The evening will feature ingredients and products from Lida Farm, Hugh’s Gardens, North Circle Seeds, Doubting Thomas Farms, and Buck’s Mill Brewing.

And there’s something special to take home, too. Every guest will receive a complimentary signed copy of Andrea’s cookbook, BernBaum’s: Recipes from Fargo’s Scandinavian Jewish Deli, a $50 value.
