From Eastern Market to Bowling Green, Kentucky. 🏁❤️

One of our own, Rebel Nell, calls Eastern Market home. Their headquarters at 1948 Division Street is right here in the district, where they create one-of-a-kind jewelry that turns meaningful materials into something you can wear.

Their latest Corvette Collection brings a piece of Corvette history back to Detroit. Through a licensed partnership with General Motors and Corvette, Rebel Nell transforms authentic materials from the Corvette plant in Bowling Green into handcrafted jewelry and accessories, made right here in Detroit.

Every piece features Corvite, layers of automotive paint reclaimed from the Corvette manufacturing process, so no two are exactly alike.

We love seeing the creativity coming out of our district and the stories our neighbors are telling through their work. ❤️🏁

After 25+ years, farewell, SavvyChic.

When Karen Brown opened her boutique at 2712 Riopelle, the street was known for meat wholesalers, not window shopping. She opened anyway, and brought a little bit of Paris to the middle of the market district.
For more than two decades, Savvy Chic was where Detroit found the thing it didn't know it was looking for. A dress, a piece for the house, a gift, a reason to stay a little longer.

Karen, thank you for betting on this neighborhood long before it was the obvious choice. You showed what Riopelle could be.
