We are field testing in Colorado this week, and the wildfire risk is extreme. Parks are shutting down open flame cooking across the board. We pulled out the Lectric Boil and kept moving.
This is exactly the scenario we built for. Power out at home. Fire bans in the backcountry. Anywhere the grid fails you or the rules catch up to you, cooking a satisfying meal shouldn’t be the thing you have to sacrifice.
