I was experiencing a strong desire for something sweet. I had a few frozen rolls remaining after preparing the rotisserie chicken Monkey Bread. I utilized a 6” Bundt pan and 6 rolls to create a traditional Monkey Bread. It effectively satisfied my sweet craving. Very tasty.

Need a quick brunch, lunch, or dinner solution? Savory Monkey Bread is the perfect option. To minimize preparation time, I opted for a simplified approach utilizing frozen rolls, rotisserie chicken, and shredded cheese to create the ideal bread.

Recipe: 24 frozen dinner rolls, rotisserie chicken, shredded cheese of your choice (2 cups), 1 stick butter, 4 cloves of garlic, and 1/4 teaspoon parsley.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces. If shredding cheese yourself, do so at this time. Place frozen rolls on a microwave-safe plate and defrost in the microwave for 3-4 minutes. Combine butter and garlic in a microwave-safe bowl, melt in the microwave, then add parsley. Cut rolls into quarters and mix with the butter mixture. Layer 1/3 of the rolls into a Bundt pan, followed by half of the chicken and half of the cheese. Layer another 1/3 of the rolls followed by the remaining chicken and cheese. Layer the rest of the rolls on top. Pour any remaining butter over the top. Cover lightly with oiled plastic wrap and let rise for 30 minutes to double in size. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, checking at 20 minutes. If the top of the bread is getting too dark, cover with foil for the remaining cooking time. Let sit in the pan for 5 minutes, then turn out onto a plate and serve.
