‼️ A little update from the road ‼️

Hi everybody, Nick here.

Summer is always a little slower for us, so I wanted to take a few minutes to let you know where we’re at and what’s going on behind the scenes.

We’re making improvements now so when the season picks up, we can do more and serve you better. We’re also working on a new downtown store with a couple of partners that we hope to open soon—lots of exciting things coming.

I’m at Bumble Bee Ranch off I-17 on my way north to Prescott. Just south of here is Boulder Creek Ranch, one of the first ranches my partner Tim bought, along with others throughout the Bradshaw Mountains.

It’s Tuesday, which means I’m headed to the sale barn to buy cattle to supplement what we need and make sure we’re always getting the best quality beef for your families.

That part matters a lot to me.

We’re committed to truly grass-fed, grass-finished beef, and I also want you to see what that actually means. The cattle are raised on native forage—not confined or on a feed ration. They may go through a short transition on hay, but this is the land and forage they’re ultimately raised on for Arizona Grass Raised Beef, Arcadia Meat Market, and Open Range.

We’ve been lucky with good monsoon rains this year, which means strong forage and hopefully good, healthy cattle through the winter.

We’re also continuing to build out the rest of what we offer. Our lamb comes from Willcox, from a ranch we’ve worked with since the beginning. We’ve recently brought back local chicken from a producer in Camp Verde, which is a big win because good local organic chicken is hard to find. And while our pork still comes from Washington for now, we’re working on bringing an Arizona producer online out of Cochise in the near future.

There’s a lot we’re building, and it takes time, but we’re excited about where it’s going.

Most importantly, thank you for your support and for trusting us to be your source for clean food.
