We have two barn cats that need a new barn.
One mama cat. She had her first litter three weeks ago, and is a fantastic mom. Would make a great fairy farm cat.
Second, is a fixed calico, great mouser.
Both are somewhat friendly, but prefer barn life. Mama cat has been inside since giving birth and has become more friendly.

Our last fireworks at this farm. It was smoky due to the moisture in the air. Which made for a cool effect.

This is such a strange spring for us here at the homestead. It will be the first Spring in 14 years without any livestock. We sold all our livestock in the fall even the guineas and chickens are gone.
But we wait patiently to see what Yehovah God has in-store for us.
We are getting the gardens ready for planting. Trusting the God has a great plan for us either here, or somewhere else.

Today, I want to share a post from a while back that I think many may need to read. Mental health is something we often don't want to talk about. But depression, anxiety, su***de, and mental illness is real, and we all need to be heard and seen.

It has been a while since I wrote about mental health. But it is such an important topic, and I don’t want to ever neglect to discuss the reality of it with my children. Recently, some of my dearest family and friends have really been struggling with depression and anxious thoughts.
