I've been working on something new behind the scenes! 🤎🌾

If you've followed our homesteading journey, you know how much we love this life. The chickens, the goats, growing our own food, making things from scratch, and building a home with faith and family at the center.

Well, that love has turned into something new!

We started Kingdom Homesteader, a little apparel brand inspired by the life we're building and the things we believe in.

Think vintage-inspired graphic tees, homesteading humor, chickens, sourdough, gardening, motherhood, and unapologetically following Jesus. ✝️

It's brand new, and we're starting from scratch, but I'm excited to see where it goes!

Our roof is on! 🏠

Our house has been on a bit of a pause for about 4 weeks due to them ordering the wrong windows. But he got the roof on to help protect the house in case of rain.

When shopping for a fireplace, the one question everyone kept asking me:
"What feature are you looking for in your fireplace?"

My only answer....
A place to hang stockings. 🤣

For me, the fireplace is a place hang stockings and decorate for Christmas. It's also a place we cuddle around with Hot Cocoa. Yup, is about those moments.

I didn't care much about what it looked like, or even how warm it could keep the house.

We like our house on the cooler side. I cannot handle any feeling of heat on me. 😅 And so the heat from our fireplace is really just decoration, moments and a redundancy - in case we lost heat.

Our new lawn mowers have been doing great! 😅

That open clean looking field on the right used to look like the stuff on the left photo. What we acquired was 25 acres of pretty much abandoned land. So we've been slowly trying to clean areas up. The goats have been making this way easier the last month.

And honestly, I think goats are the EASIEST homestead animal to have. Way easier than our chickens have been. Now, I want more goats! lol

All walls are up now, even the interior walls.
Framing guys work fast!

Follow along our journey as we build our forever home on our forever homestead. 🥰 Chicken and goats so far....but watch as we grow our homestead into a fully functioning and self-reliant home for our entire family compound.

My in-laws are living there on the land with their new home now. Next is us and my parents' homes. 🫶
