We won’t be at the Pulaski County Farmers' Market!

Sometimes the farm tells us it’s time to pause and catch up on chores, sewing, drying, and replenishing our stock so we can come back with a table full of goodies for you all.

In the meantime, I’ve been loving these beautiful Sicilian eggplants from the garden this week I sliced them up and used them in place of noodles for lasagna… and let me tell you, it was AMAZING! Highly recommend giving it a try.

We’ll miss seeing everyone at market, but we’ll be back next week, rested and stocked up for you! 💜

We’ve been working on something special for the Christmas in July event at the Pulaski County Farmers' Market!

We’ve captured a little piece of July and preserved it in a one-of-a-kind ornament. We used red hot peppers, sweet basil, a pinch of the pasture and feathers from our sassiest hens! Come grab a little summer sparkle for your tree this Saturday, July 19th!

Sadly, due to cottage food laws, we are unable to sell our hot pepper jelly — but if you happen to get your hands on some, here’s a fantastic way to use it!

🌶️Hot Pepper Jelly Chicken🌶️
A sweet and spicy weeknight favorite around here!

Servings: 4
Prep Time: 10 min
Cook Time: 20 min
Total Time: 30 min

Ingredients
- 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into cubes
- ⅓ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- ½ pint jar hot pepper jelly
- ⅓ cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oil (for pan)

🍗Instructions🍗

Coat the chicken:
In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, and pepper. Add chicken cubes and toss to coat evenly.

Cook the chicken:
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown and fully cooked through, about 6–8 minutes.

Add the sauce:
Reduce heat to medium. Pour in the hot pepper jelly and soy sauce. Stir to coat the chicken.

Thicken the sauce:
Simmer, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens and becomes glossy, about 5–7 minutes.

Serve:
Spoon over steamed jasmine rice and serve with a side of sautéed vegetables.

Enjoy!
