The piglets are getting bigger and a little braver every day. This is them simply testing (tasting) their surroundings and saying ‘hi’. 🤣

This crazy eyed chicken is part of the flock who produced 47 eggs today. Yes, we have multiple colors and sizes as younger birds are producing small eggs, but growing in size all the time. Our variety of breeds produce white, brown, olive, even and occasional blue egg. Plus we get duck and turkey eggs for even more variety. There not always clean in the coop, but it’s part of farm life.

Hello friends, it’s finally feeling like winter might end at some point. (Never mind the snow coming this week.) As winter time is very slow, warmer weather starts the farm abundance. Piglets born overnight on January 26 when it was in the -20s wind chill and the feathered friends are producing at a crazy busy winter level with around 3 dozen a day. We all hope everyone has weathered their winter well.
