Braided River Farm

Feel good. Be well. Braided River Farm is small produce farm located near the plaited Platte River in south central Nebraska.

We use organic and regenerative farming practices to nourish the soil, the plants, and our local community. We also raise chickens and ducks, which provide us with a steady supply of eggs (meat available later in 2023). Join our CSA and reap the benefits of locally-grown synthetic chemical-free food!

This is a great article that explains the many costs that go into humanely raising poultry (these turkeys aren't even organic), and the resulting high cost to the customer.

Humanely raised turkeys are often more expensive because they eat high-quality food, require more space, and take extra time to raise.
