When one job comes to a stop, you don’t stop working—you just adapt.

We had plans to be forestry mulching today, but a hydraulic cylinder decided it had other ideas and blew out. That’s part of owning equipment—sometimes the machine makes the schedule for you.

Instead of calling it a day, we switched gears and headed to the cemetery to tackle this massive dead oak. Cody’s up in the bucket taking it down piece by piece to make sure it comes down safely and without damaging any surrounding headstones.

Every job is different, but the goal is always the same: do it safely, do it right, and leave it looking better than we found it.

Here’s to making the best of unexpected setbacks. The mulcher will be back soon, but today it’s all about precision tree work.

Well… someone forgot their “sun tea” at Stuckey’s in Doolittle. 😂

I don’t think it’s quite finished brewing yet though… it’s been sitting in the shade. It probably needs a few more hours out in the Missouri sunshine before it’s fully aged. 🤢☀️

With this Missouri heat, I’d also recommend drinking a little more water… because judging by the color of that “tea,” this fella might be a little dehydrated. 💀🤣

Stay safe out there, drink plenty of water, and if you happen to be making homemade “sun tea,” don’t forget where you set it! 🍻😂

Storms don’t care what your plans were…

Looks like Rolla took a pretty good beating last night. If you’ve got a tree across your driveway, laying on your house, hanging over your yard, or just a mess that needs cleaned up, give us a shout.

We’ve got the bucket truck, equipment, and the know-how to get it taken care of safely. No job is worth getting hurt over.

We’ve got an opening today, so if you need help, now’s a good time to reach out.

Hopefully everyone made it through the storms okay. If you or someone you know needs a hand, we’re just a phone call away.

I don’t know why, but watching this little whirlpool got me thinking.

The older I get, the more I realize the things I miss most aren’t the places… they’re the people who used to explain them.

Funny how something as simple as moving water can remind you of the lessons that still stick with you.

Take a minute today, slow down, and enjoy the little things.

We’re thankful for the freedom to work hard, build something of our own, and serve the communities that support us every day.

A huge thank you to the men and women who have served and continue to serve our country. Because of your sacrifice, we get to enjoy days like today with our families.

You’re one lucky man today.

You backed almost two mower lengths out into CC Highway without ever looking to see if anyone was coming. I had to put my bucket truck completely into the opposite lane to keep from hitting you. Thankfully there wasn’t another vehicle coming the other direction, or this could’ve ended a whole lot worse.

The look on your face when you finally noticed that bucket truck tells me you’ll probably pay a little more attention next time—and I sure hope so. I’m just glad I was paying attention.

And to make it even better… my fountain Dr Pepper launched right out of the cup holder trying to avoid you. 😂

P.S. You officially owe me a fountain Dr Pepper from Dewdrop!

Until it’s July, the sun’s trying to melt your boots, you’re welding hot sucker rod, and a pen full of pigs reminds you exactly why they call it “hog heaven.”

We were busy building an 8-foot pipe alley with sucker rods when I looked up and saw a zebra standing at the end of the alley watching us. I figured he was just curious.

Then I looked a little closer… behind him was another zebra and a wildebeest, all standing there like they were inspecting the job.

Some people work with traffic. Some work in town. We get a front-row seat to things like this. That’s one of the reasons I love what we do.
