Join us this Friday 10/16 for the musical debut of in our taproom featuring support from .l.edwards & from 7 to 9 PM.

MELODIQ is a Pittsburgh-based independent artist who delivers a soulful, genre-blending fusion of hip-hop, neo-soul, and jazz. Active in the music community since 1994, he has built an extensive catalog heavily influenced by boom-bap legends like A Tribe Called Quest and Gangstarr. Known for his steady international collaborations and engaging local live performances. Often supported by his backing group, The Vibes, his signature sound is fully realized in projects like the 2025 EP SoulHOP Session: Volume ONE.

Entry is free but seating is first-come, first-serve. All ages are welcome. .bar.b.q will be out front until 8:30 PM bringing some of the best BBQ around to Dormont.

Our taproom will be open from 5 PM to 8 PM after a private event this afternoon. Our Friends from will be here for your dinner needs and we're excited to welcome back the Pittsburgh B**r Choir who will be here singing from 5:30 to 7.

Tonight we'll also be at Haunted Attraction from 7 to 10 PM slinging some of your favorite brews.

This one's special, folks... Pittsburgh's own Zack Keim will be making his debut appearance at Back Alley Brewing tomorrow, Saturday 10/10 following the Dormont Street and Music Festival from 7 to 9 PM.

is a Pittsburgh singer-songwriter who will excite patrons with his nostalgic folk and classic music, blending 1960s pop hooks and indie rock. The 2025 Artist of the Year and former frontman recently released his sophomore solo album, Battery Lane, via a label founded by Evan Westfall of the folk-rock band

His music also carries strong local sports ties, highlighted by the NHL's Pittsburgh Penguins featuring his energetic single "Colors" for an official jersey reveal.

Entry is free but seating is first-come, first-serve. All ages are welcome. will be out front until 8:00 PM bringing some Chicago favorites to Dormont.

Join us Tomorrow, Friday October 9th for "The Unofficial" Dormont Street & Music Festival Warm Up Party from 6 to 9 PM featuring two Dormont bands & .pgh plus handmade self-care products by and Caricatures by Let's Face It! Arts & Entertainment. Food Truck scheduled is with their famous Korean Korn Dogs.

Taproom opens at 4 PM with $5 Back Alley Brews from 4 to 6 PM. Music and festivities start at 6 PM out in the B**r Garden. See ya tomorrow!

24 weeks, 24 Sip 'N Putts. It's been a great summer with our friends over at and we've got one last hoorah before we call it quits until the spring. It will be tomorrow, Thursday 10/8 from 6 to 9. This week we will have singing some songs while we pour your favorite beers.

Huge thanks to Forsythe Miniature Golf & Snacks, the 9 musicians, 10 food trucks, and 4 guest drink vendors who worked with us to put on this free weekly event all summer. Also, a special thanks to all of YOU for coming out and making it special.

Don’t let the fluffy exterior fool you. There’s a beast lurking underneath.

First brewed in the original Back Alley (6th Alley behind Latonia Ave) in August 2018, Fluffernut is named after Eris, our resident inspiration for all things fluffy, nutty, and unhinged.

Fluffernut is an Imperial Butternut Squash Ale that goes down deceptively easy, with all the cozy, toasty flavor of a fall treat. But beneath that innocent exterior lurks a sneaky 8.7% ABV.

Cute, fluffy and slightly dangerous... just like Eris.

Available now on draft and in cans at the taproom.
