👋 There seem to be a few new folks around these parts and what better a time to re-introduce myself!
🏥 Since intros are boring *Long long ago in a hospital far far away* kidding, it was just Fairfax hospital- I've decided to do 2 truths and a lie as my introduction!
⚖️ I'll tell you 3 facts about me. 2 are true. 1 is not. It's up to you to decide which is the lie and drop it in the comments!
1️⃣ Fact 1: I actually started this bakery business under a totally different name, The Crumbed Cookies (hard on the throat with that consonant cluster, might I add), I had to change my name to Mixing Bowl Cookie Co because people kept emailing me their resumes and writing bad reviews, thinking I was Crumbl Cookies. I've operated as Mixing Bowl Cookie Co in Woodbridge, VA ever since!
2️⃣ Fact 2: I am a twin! I was born second (but honestly, if my mom sneezed once and closed her eyes and Heather and I rolled into each other's spots in the crib, could I be the older twin who has been confused as the younger twin for the last 37 years!? It's a working theory). I was born 1 pound lighter (will never let that go) and with less hair (sadly, still letting that go).
3️⃣ Fact 3: I have been married 5 times. Is the phrase, "Find Mr Right?" or is it, "Find Mr Right Now"? My fifth husband was a big oil tycoon and retired me from my office job. Out of boredom, I started making custom sugar cookies, cake pops, macarons and cookie cakes just to pass the time from my penthouse apartment in New York City. He ran off with the front desk lady from our hotel lobby and I've had to bake a living on my own ever since.
