We would absolutely love it if someone took over the farm and raised their own animals here like we loved doing while it was ours! Whether you're interested in continuing the agritourism business or just having somewhere quiet to enjoy the country while being close to town, you would love it here!

This link is for the 30 acres the barn and house are on, but there is an option to purchase more attached land if you wish up to 76 acres!

This is a post we didn’t ever want to or plan to make but God is full of surprises and we are following his lead!

We are so excited to have found out we are welcoming a little girl in November. I have had a very difficult pregnancy thus far making it nearly impossible for me to help with farm chores and animal care. Brett has done an amazing job stepping in to help doing the things needed to make sure the animals are happy and healthy.

Through this, we have realized that the farm is too much for our family to be able to tend to with 3 little kids and my husband working full time. During our events and visits, it often takes 5-8 of us to keep things running and we are so grateful for our family who stepped in to help.

While we absolutely loved sharing our animals and farm with everyone and are so grateful for the hundreds/thousands of you who have supported us this year, we have decided to close the farm.

If anyone is interested in purchasing the farm please send us a message. I would love for someone to continue providing farm experiences for the community!

I have ensured that the animals have all found the best homes. This has been the most difficult thing I have ever had to do but I have ensured everyone has a life as good, if not better than they did here (and they sure were spoiled).

Arrive at Folklore at 10AM for registration. Tickets are $30 in advance, $35 at the door
Kids under 12 eat free with purchase of adult ticket
Price includes lunch and $30 in Rescue Bucks you can spend at the auction
Prizes for the Scavenger Hunt Winners! You will hunt by motorcycle or car and gather photos of the hunt list items from around the Dothan area.

We had a busy two days with Highland cow minis but they turned out so cute. 🥰

We have really started exploring and planning the front of the property and look what we found 😍

There are clusters of oak trees and pecan trees at the front of the property as well as a foundation and culvert where an old house stood.

If only I could reverse time and see what it looked like….
