Tonight we had a first time experience for the Douds Mafia, grilled salmon. We were on vacation up in Minnesota and stumbled into Morey's seafood market. We brought home some salmon and knew we had to grill it up as soon as we can. We seasoned it with Heath Riles BBQ Cajun Creole Garlic butter and put it on a soaked cedar plank. Once it came off the grill we dug right into it and made some pasta salad and jalapeño poppers. This will become a regular meal in our kitchen.

Smoked 20 pounds of meatloaf at the Old Iron Show in Eldon over the weekend. The meat loaf was prepared by Rhonda Countryman and it was soo good. Will definitely be doing this again.

When its a nice night in September, you have to take advantage of that. Tonight we had some Hyvee Cowboy Chicken grilled patties topped with some white American cheese and bacon. Add some Chipotle sauce to it to add an extra zip. That butger with some pasta salad and buffalo ranch chip dip from Damn Yankee Texas BBQ , you cant get much better of an end of summer meal.

Tonight we grilled up some sausages from Cerro Grande Meat Market .I can't recall exactly what they were but man were they delicious. They had the right amount of cheese and spice ratio. If you still haven't gone and visited their new store, I highly recommend it.

Sometimes you gotta put the BBQ on the back burner and tear into a good Philly cheesesteak! 🔥🤤

Thin-sliced steak, melted cheese, sautéed onions, and a toasted roll… that’s a supper worth getting excited about!🙌

Grilled some Raspberry Chipotle sausage from Cerro Grande Meat Market and man were they delicious. If you ever get the chance to swing by Cerro Grande I highly recommend it.
