been awhile I have posted any updates. First off I moved to Coca Cola as A bulk Account Manage. This will give me back my weekends and nights to work on the farm. Dollar General just had to many issues with people not wanting to show up and work and the store manager having to re arrange his day and plans because of it.

With that I have been at Coca Cola a holw 4 days starting my day Sunday on a new route, but this have given me some time to get some things done at the farm.

Original was going to work on the inside first and move to the exterior, but once we started removing the garage doors and finding the outside OSB had been been trapped in 4" of mud, plants and bugs have change direction. Going to get the eterior all cleaned up around the house. Poured some more concrete last two days on the front since that is area worse for dry rot. Put in some additional 6x6 supports at the garage door and some 4x6 in the ways. Has to be done by the end of July. Cleaned up, wrapped and 1x4 put so the contrator can do the sheetmetal.

The roof was put on and now I have spot for the tractor out back under the roof/

stop working on the house this weekend to get a few other items done. Finally got the last two septic tanks off Chancy place yesterday that Chancy loaded up for us couple weeks ago. The barn was ready for cleaning. The girls had pushed the fence panels up against the trailer and winter bedding needed to go.Two hours into the removal had to stop and let the engine cool down for about hour. Took roughly 6 hours to clear the barn of panels and feeds, remove all the bedding, wash the barn floor down and put back all the panel. go out to morrow and get the bedding down. What took 6 hour usually took two days to get before. going to enjoy the new barn and the tractor.

Quick update, The apartment been torn out and removed. The new support system for the roof is coming along. Hoping to be completed Monday with the 40 rafters to be cut and installed. The roofer will be out in two weeks to start tear off and preping for new roof to go on. Getting the roof opening kit for the wood stove this week and one for the for the ceiling attic as well. Found a huge red hornet nest covering 5 section of rafters so 80 inches at the top plate filled with nests. After this week taking a weekend off and come back start the rough lumber for interior walls. The lumber package will be ready the new house will begin. Brooke has done alot work on clearing thousands of screws out the wall, all the lights torn off the ceiling, wall mounted items and just general getting the interior ready for us to start remodeling.

Evening everyone,
Been a busy few days out at the farm. Brooke and I got the inside mostly cleared of cabinets and tables. This will be a 2 bed room 2 barh house with Utility room and large open kitchen Living area and Fireplace. Eigth foot ceilings and exposy floors with 3D wall paper. see how this comes together. I have floor plan laid out now its time to do to the lumber and material counts. The apartment that was out back is slowly being removed we are on 2 dumpsters with one more to go. The flooring for the apartment looks to be in good shape so will be redone into at 12 foot wide deck covered as shown in size. the rest of the back wall will be used to store the tractor and other items needing a home out of the elements. The plywood is being a bit stuborn to come off the frame but we will get it done. The roof should be ready to be stripped off and new one put on by the end of April. We shall see..... The goats got there grain feeder back finally, pain getting it in with them constantly trying to get into it... but at last it back and on schedule feeding twice a day.

Some cold days out here, but this\ weekebd got the heat lamps out to where the buck will be going this coming weekend. Grain tube from the window to hay feeder. see how long that last. looking at the photo need to tack the wire up to roof some. We will be moving thebaby goats out this coming weekend. Still need to get the bottle station set up with coffee maker forhot water. Put the refrigerator in for the milk and otheritems needing to go in for the goats last weekend. Cameras are all most done, want to put in 3 more for some additional coverage but for now I can watch the areas around the barn and one camera on the baby goats area. The sign lighting up well and shifting colors. Once we thaw little will begin moving all the stuff out the shop and into the house so the remodel can start.

Another cold beautiful day at the farm. Moved the WIFI router to the other end of the barn. Now I have cell phone reception into the shop and around the barn. Got the sign for the front of the barn installed and now I realize it looks a little small for the size of the front entry. The other sign been installed on the fence. Be out Saturday to get the cameras put in place and possible wired up so I can see what is happening when not there. The two bottle babies we went picked up last weekend are doing great, they are currently living in the spare bedroom. Brothers that are commercial bucks a couple weeks old. Picked up from Maddie and Trevor out in Oklahoma. Very nice set up they have. Maddie and Trevor put some work into getting the property set up for their goats. It is a 12-hour drive one way, but was great to spend the two days with Brooke traveling to get her own baby goats. Pure white and cinnamon color boys – Little Sugar and Brother Cinnamon – they are well cared for between the three of us here at the house they are doing great.

Chancy got one of the septic tanks loaded for me to bring over and get in for the boy. Going to put two of the other ones up for sale see if they go. I need on for a creeper pen. The girls do not travel far from the barn. then again its full alfalfa, clean water, and hay to sleep on. Deworming started this week. see how it goes next month. All and All the goats are enjoying new home.

The goats heard there was a weather advisory and tried to find there own way here for the last two days. Constantly out the field at my nephews place walking down the back roads so yesterday afternoon Miss Brooke and Chnacy helped me get all them into his trailer to move to the barn. The hot wire not done yet. The power is cut in for the charger. The buck is in the barn in his own section for now. Once we move his house over will move him out side i will drop a heat lamp into his house. Headed back today see how they did and get them feed. They are going to be in here a few days until this weather passes.
