Market Day falls on Halloween this year!🎃

Morell Dairy will have us stocked with milk this month so if you placed an order from the past two months it will be filled! Pasture raised pork, chicken, grass fed beef & so much more! Sweet babies born this weekend!💛 Our mama pigs raise their babies in the woods until they’re weaned. After weaning these piglets will go out on the pasture until the day they are harvested to feed you!

Milk update!
Morell Dairy let us know he will not have any milk available this month😩 We also will not have our milk available this weekend.
Like us he has had to dry cows up to calf within the next few month which means his daily milk is low. Cows need a 6 to 8 week dry period between calving. This gives their body rest & is extremely important for udder health! I know it’s a bummer but the beauty of buying from a farmer is understanding the animal that’s giving you the food on your table!
Like scripture says ““For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:”.
There’s seasons of abundant milk, eggs & meat and then there’s seasons of less. The Lord designed seasons of rest in nature! Buying from a local farmer gives you a front row seat to the seasons the Lord has made!💛 If you had a milk order will roll that order over into next month! There is still plenty to shop for at the Farm Store! We can’t wait to see y’all!

When we started our farm 7 years ago we had no idea the amount of friendship that would come from it. We just made a page & started sharing our life & what was on our hearts with y’all💛 In return we have this community of people who love us & who we love. It has been a beautiful gift! We’ve received Christmas cards, thrifted treasures, knitted hats & baby blankets,hand written notes of thank you and meals when I was sick or postpartum. In an age when we are bombarded daily with news of evil all over the world, we have been reminded daily that good exists! You can have an impact on the people around you where God has placed you! You can make people feel seen & loved. All that to say, our dear friend & farm customer Mrs. Lori Houser gifted us with this hand painted canvas of our cow Elsie last Market Day! I hung it over the kids art table to inspire them & they talk about it just about everyday🥹 We’re just so thankful for this sweet community!

Last Saturday’s Market Day was such a success! We are truly blown away by the community’s support of our farm & all of the vendors. Y’all almost completely bought us out of beef & everything else. Some of our vendors had their highest sales ever🙌🏻 There was an electric feeling in the air of excitement & just fellowship. It was so dang good! We are processing an extra cow this month, something we’ve never done before, to keep up with y’all’s beef demands! After a few finically stressful months, this Market Day was just a blessing from the Lord!

Ada Brown was actually our first ever vendor when we opened the Farm Store! She has been making & selling soap since she was 13 years old! Ada loves to bake & is the oldest of 9 children. She dreams of growing up & working on a horse ranch one day.
I personally use so many of her products. I keep her soap by every sink, we use her goat milk lotion & I have one of her candles in every room in my house! Ada is a young entrepreneur & has the kindest spirit! We are so proud to support her business through the Farm Store!
