Funny that the scripture says to love and this man twisted and manipulated it as a scripture calling for “ discipline” of your wife and daughters. So many women see things like this and run from God. It’s actually sad. 
Maybe he should re-examine how Christ loved the church. This scripture is calling for self sacrifice, and to set an example of love. Not to make sure you “discipline” all the women you have access to discipline. Don’t let one fall through the cracks. Discipline anyone with a va**na that you can.
