We are back home and rested up from the 5th annual pact Bbq and Brew. When we arrived we received a lot meat to cook up and service to the public with the addition to the competition meat for Saturday. So friday night we spend our time trimming and prepping. Had a great dinner thanks to the Chester family! Saturday morning came around and got a little interesting with the trailer swaying with the storm that rolled through, but we still managed a few hours of sleep. With all the extra meat, that made for a interesting time juggling all the grills, unfortunately we were not prepared for it 😢. Also first time running legs, quick process, but we just let time get the best of us and they were not up to temp. Lots of things learned, and a lot of fun that was had! Here's how we did!

What started as a cold, rainy weekend in October has grown into one of the tastiest traditions of the summer! It’s all thanks to the teams, attendees, and our friends at Fareway Stores Centerville. You’ve helped create the incredible atmosphere that makes this event what it is. Each season gets a little bigger, a little better, and a whole lot more fun, and we’re so excited to bring you the 5th edition.

The things you love? They’re not going anywhere: great BBQ, cold drinks, live music, and a full day on the Square.

But we’ve made a few upgrades we think you’re going to love:
• New dates: June 5th (overnight for cooking) & 6th (event day) to better align with other local events (and yes, we’re trying to beat the heat a bit ☀️)
• Extended hours from 11am–7pm so there’s even more time to hang out, listen to music, and enjoy the day
• More games, more live music, and more reasons to stick around
