Jimmy Mathis went to heaven on Christmas Eve, his favorite holiday. The Mathis family lost it’s finest and best. He lived to see his 96th birthday on December 20th. Jimmy was a devout Christian, and was ready to see heaven. He worked hard building Mathis Angus Farms his entire life; there was no harder worker and no finer farmer. He lived for his family, and was so proud of his boys (Gary and Tim), grandkids and especially his great grandboys. The Mathis family and Totty’s Bend will never be the same without him.

Visitation will be at McDonald’s Funeral Home in Centerville on Friday, December 29th from 4-8pm, and December 30th from 11-1pm. Funeral services will be at 1 pm on the 30th, with burial in Totty’s Bend Cemetery.
