Bummer of an update: Sadly, we lost one of our hives to bears last weekend. While we are grateful we didn't lose them sooner, it's still frustrating and sad, just as we were starting prep for winter.
Luckily, the other hive is fine, and the bears haven't returned.
Our plans for next spring now include bear-proofing.
We still have lots of honey available. Send a message if you'd like to purchase a jar ($15/pint). Proceeds go towards next year's upgrades and maintenance.
