Produce includes: sweet corn, tomatoes, summer squash, onions, cucumbers, honey, and more! I started Tye’s Fresh Produce five years ago at age 14. I have had a passion for agriculture since I was a child and as I get older, the more I enjoy farming and see the need for it. It has been a super busy past few weeks working around the farm! From planting, tending to crops, and irrigation we have been hustling. The good news is that the crops are looking fabulous and are loving this warmer weather! We have RED TOMATOES in the greenhouse and I was able to have my first BLT of the year. We are planning on opening the stand next Saturday(6/13) with the following items:

Tomatoes
Yellow squash
Zucchini
Cucumbers
Pickles
Broccoli
Lettuce

To adress the question everyone has been asking.....where will you have your stand this year? I will have a post with more information on that by the middle of the week.

We have the stand all stocked up with our cherry tomato hanging baskets at the farm located at 1554 Gloff Road, Dundee, Michigan 48131.

They are $20.00 each. I will let you know if we begin running low, but as of right now we have plenty left. Thank you to all those who have stopped by so far this morning, it has been great to see you all again!

It's been a busy week in-between rain showers! We were able to get our first planting of supper sweet corn in (hand planted twice), peas, and we are hardening off our first plantings of tomatoes, yellow squash, zucchini, cucumbers, pickles and lettuce for transplanting early this week. If you have looked at the upcoming forcast, it is going to be cooooold 🥶 so we will be covering them with row covers to protect them from frost and keep them growing in a warmer environment. Our potatoes, onions, garlic and first plantings of broccoli, cauliflower and cabbage are looking fabulous! WE WILL BEGIN SELLING OUR CHERRY TOMATO HANGING BASKETS THIS WEEKEND, more details to come. THEY MAKE GREAT MOTHERS DAY GIFTS!

Just a quick weekly update for you all!

The tomatoes in the greenhouses have been growing like crazy this week and we already have marble size fruit. We have to trellis tomatoes every week and because tomatoes are wind pollinated, I use a leaf blower to mimic wind in the greenhouse. We planted all our onions and first batch of cabbage, broccoli, and cauliflower in the field. Hoping to plant potatoes this week before the rain!

We hope everyone is having a great Easter Sunday! We have been super busy on the farm this spring, working in the greenhouses, getting the fields prepped, and even planting a few crops in the field already. We have even had Henry helping out around the farm! Its hard to believe in a few months we will be opening back up again for the season! We will keep you posted on how things are growing.

I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and your New Year is off to a great start!

A group of FFA Students are working on a marketing project for a state competition and have chosen to use my business to base their project on! Attached below is a link to a survey they have created to collect some information for their project. If you wouldn't mind taking a minute to fill out the survey, it would greatly benefit the group as well as Holly and I to make any adjustments to the stand in the upcoming year. It is hard to believe in just a few weeks we will begin planting again!!!

Hope you are all having a great Thanksgiving! Holly and I just wanted to say how thankful and blessed we were this season especially with little Henry being a new addition to our family.

We are so thankful for all of our great customers and your support this season. We are looking forward to next season and have already started making plans. Stay tuned to our page this winter for farm updates as we gear up for next year!

GOOD MORNING!! We managed to harvest quite a bit throughout this week and for today as well! Today is the LAST DAY for the following items:

Green beans
Sweet corn
Pickles
Cucumbers
Cantaloupe
Watermelon

The following items we will have today through possibly Tuesday or Wednesday next week:

Zucchini
Eggplant
Sweety snack peppers
Cherry tomatoes
Green and red bell peppers
Jalapeños
Banana peppers
Tomatoes

All next week we will have a steady supply of cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower red and white potatoes, and candy sweet onions!

We will also begin selling bags of our candy sweet onions and round white potatoes starting Monday!

We also have the yard stocked with a variety of beautiful pumpkins, mums, corn stalks and other fall decorations as well as an assortment of winter squash on the stand!
