Goat health research has been very slow compared to other countries. This is fantastic news for goat producers!

This was posted earlier and was taken down to highlight that the vaccine is USDA approved for goats, and to add some missing information. It is very difficult to get vaccines for goats in the USA and we've just begun to make real progress.

In addition to this vaccine, AGF has been able to get commitments from USDA/ARS for development of a Coxiellosis (Q Fever) vaccine for goats, which is already underway - and once the Barberpole worm vaccine for sheep has been completed, one for goats will be done.
