I had the honor of catering the Pitch It Awards today, hosted by James Sprunt Community College and Marine Federal Credit Union. We prepared our Walking Taquito cups, getting to serve this event meant so much to me. 🌮🥬🌶️

Last year, I was one of the entrepreneurs competing in the Pitch It competition. The program played such a huge role in helping me start Sliced & Diced, and to come back this year as the caterer for the awards ceremony truly feels like a full-circle moment! All the glory to God for continuing to open doors I never thought possible 🤍

I’m beyond grateful for this opportunity and for a program that pours so much into small businesses. Thank you for believing in local entrepreneurs and creating opportunities that truly make a difference.

A Little Life Update from Dulce Aroma Café & Studio 🤎☕

First, THANK YOU.

Thank you for your patience, your encouragement, your messages, your shares, and for believing in this dream long before we opened our doors.

Many of you have been asking when we'll be opening, and we wanted to give you a quick update. While we had hoped to open sooner, we've experienced a few delays due to some exciting personal milestones. I am currently 7 months pregnant and eagerly awaiting the arrival of our baby girl, while also balancing the incredible opportunity to compete in the Pitch It Duplin business competition.

As many of you know, Dulce Aroma has always been more than a coffee shop. It's a dream built with community, culture, creativity, and connection at its heart. Like any dream worth building, sometimes the journey takes a little longer than expected.

The good news? We are getting VERY close!

We plan to announce our Soft Launch soon and are working hard toward being fully open by July 15th. We cannot wait to welcome you into the space we've been creating with so much love.

In the meantime, we need your support one more time! ❤️

Snaps of market at Tarts Mega Corn maze! 🚜🌽

Markets are one of our favorite things to do! They definitely require a lot more work but that’s okay though—I’ve got my Honeydew 😂🍈 because all he hears is “Honey, do this” & “Honey, do that!” Seriously nothing beats getting to meet and chat with you all and share the joy! We are so thankful for all support and can’t wait for the next one! 🧀

It was a hot one today but we have the refreshers to keep YOU COOL 🆒 🌞😎

Our aguas are made from scratch, with real fruit & cane sugar, we make them just hours before market & kept super COLD! + our ice is the good ice!! Anytime we’re out at market you can sample our aguas frescas!! 💛👀🤩🧊

🍓Strawberry watermelon was a hit today, served ice cold and topped with fresh diced watermelon!!🍉
