The cafe hours are back to normal ! Monday thru Friday 6 am to 2 pm ! And Thursdays depends on how long the sale lasts! Come see us!

Yesterday was our opening day at the sale barn and it was great ! Thank you to all who came out and supported us! And thanks to all that is sharing the post and for those who are spreading the word about us moving I appreciate it and hope to see everyone come out and eat with us . Todays special is fried pork chops , mashed potatoes , a choice of vegetables , and Texas toast . Our hours are Monday - Friday 6 am -2pm and open Thursday nights til 8 or so !

Some exciting news for Mendy’s Down home diner I been waiting to share with everyone . We are moving locations as of Monday Oct 30th we will be open at 2201 s 9th ave in Durant ! It will seat a few more customers and a lot more parking . I would like to thank Bob and Debra for giving me the opportunity to follow my dream and open up my own on 6th st over a year ago . We have made so many memories and new friends at my lil diner off the beaten path. But a new opportunity has come up and thanks to Jeff and Rebeca Hazaleus we are moving to the cafe beside the sale barn . I want to thank everyone that does and has helped me at the diner I sure couldn’t do it without y’all . And for all my customers that followed me to here and all the new ones we have made along the way. I appreciate everyone of you! I hope to see everyone out at the new place . Our hours will be almost the same Monday -Friday 6 am- 2 pm except on Thursday we will stay open til 8 pm or so depending on the sale ! Thanks again !!

One year anniversary is here today !! Can’t believe we have already been in business a year , thanks to all our customers , family, and friends that have made it possible!! We appreciate each and everyone of you. Thank you all for your business this last year and for all the years to come !!
