Have you ever wondered where your rice comes from? Let us introduce you to Tennemo Rice Family Farm & Mill!

We are a family farm located in the Finley community of Dyer County, West Tennessee, right in the heart of the Mississippi River bottoms. 🌾🇺🇸

Our family didn’t just decide to grow rice — we built our own rice mill so we could take our rice from the field all the way to the finished package.

🌱 Here’s what makes Tennemo Rice different:

✅ We grow all of our rice right here in Tennessee
✅ We grow conventional rice varieties
✅ We mill the rice that we grow on our family farm
✅ We do not commercially buy rice from other growers
✅ Our rice is grown in the rich Mississippi River bottoms of West Tennessee

🏞️ WHERE DID THE NAME “TENNEMO” COME FROM?

Our name comes from Tennemo, Tennessee, an old river town that once played a role in river trade many years ago. The community has a history tied to the Mississippi River, and we chose the name Tennemo as a way to honor that West Tennessee heritage.

Today, we’re proud to carry that name forward by growing Tennessee rice right here in the same region.
