Our fourth season at the stand has wrapped up!! I want to thank everyone for their support, love and friendship, thank you to all our returning customers, thank you to all the new customers that came this year!! And thank you to our family for always being there to support us!! We couldn’t do this without each of you!! Farming is hard and unpredictable but yet so rewarding!!! It’s a passion that runs deep in my husband’s veins. The excitement he has planting, watching it grow and all the sweat,tiredness and complaints…. (Mainly from me) is what he looks forward to every year!! Farming is his happy place and has become mine because there’s no other place I’d want to be,,,,working beside him is a blessing and being able to have Hillcrest Peaches for another year is truly a blessing from God! Thank you everyone for making this possible!! Thank you Eli for all your hard work, I hope to have you back next season!
And thank you to this little WV cousin of mine who showed such enthusiasm over picking a peach 🍑

Let me tell you a little bit about Hillcrest Peaches, my husband Pat Harris wanted to start this farm in honor of his grandfather who farmed the same land many many years ago. His farm was Hillcrest Farms and was very successful. Pat wanted to carry that legacy on with our family. It’s just the two of us trying to do it all, picking produce by 6:30 am then moving on to the peach orchard before the stand is opened every morning seven days a week not to mention we both have secondary jobs that we work in. We have no work crew it’s just the two of us trying our hardest to make this successful. We pick fresh daily and try to make sure everything that is sold is top quality but unfortunately things slips through the cracks unnoticed so when that happens we do everything in our power to make it right with our costumers. So in saying this I want to say to the lady that came to our stand today accusing me of intentionally selling her “old” produce that I did it on purpose and she’d never come back again! Well I’m really sorry that happened and she was refunded for every penny she spent!! Farming is not easy especially when it’s just us and we’re giving it our all. So if there’s any more complaints please talk to me directly and not one of my children who is just trying to help out their parents once in a while. Thank you!!
