Hey everyone! We are gearing up to have our first chicken processing of the season. With that, we want to give an update on some big changes this year.

Andrew has built a new spacious brooder so the chicks have plenty of room to grow before they go out on pasture. We’ve switched to a small family owned hatchery in South Carolina so that chicks have a shorter ride in the mail. And most importantly we have upgraded our feed to Non-GMO Soy free.

With these improvements, we are increasing our prices to reflect the product we are offering. We will have an updated price list available soon so keep your eyes out!

Our busy season is here! The farm is in full swing with our pasture raised meat chickens, turkeys and pigs.

Our first batch of meat chickens have been moved out to the pasture with our second batch settling in to the brooders today. We decided to add a test batch of turkeys to the farm and they are doing great. The pigs have been devouring their food plot and are growing fast!

Fresh chicken available: June 26th
Fresh turkey available: July 25th
Fresh pork available: August 25th

In the meantime, we still have available:

Meet the new additions to our farm: Ruby and Reba! They are both registered Duroc gilts that will be our potential breeders this fall.

Also we now have half and whole pork shares available for our August 25th processing date.
