Yep. You read that right. Our Jenny girl got pregnant and calved right under our noses! 😅

Timeline:
Her milk started being a little “off” but no positive mastitis test. Thought it was due to her diet.

Notified the next week that it was still off. Decided to pull back all her milk from sharing to get to the bottom of it (even though only quarter tested slightly positive at this time).

Started our holistic approach to treating her with Synergy Animal Products (which has always worked so fast)
“Mastitis” got worse. Quickly traveled to all 4 quarters with great swelling.

Considered calling a vet to get her on antibiotics… but instead woke up to a beautiful healthy calf and a even more beautiful mama that we are so relieved was healthy the whole time 😭❤️

P.S. Our bull was moved within 30 days of her having her last calf so we never ever thought she could even be pregnant🤣

Did you know that the color of butter should change depending on the season?

This is our color difference from Winter to Spring 🤤

Yes this is butter from the same cows just one month apart.

Difference? Fresh forage.
The more green grass and green oats from our oats field, the more beta-carotene, vitamins, and omega 3’s our Guernseys produce. (The carotene itself gives that gold look🤩)

Yes this butter is more nutritious, gold, and flavorful. 🙌🏼
