This first year starting Val Pressed has taught & shown me:
-It would absolutely not be what it is now without my mom’s (Diana Vargas | Salud + Belleza 40+ ) help along the way & will forever be grateful for all she has done & continues to do daily. 🫶🏼
-Having the constant support of your few real ones > over mediocre support of “friends” any day. Make sure you have people in your corner that truly want to see you succeed + support you any way they can. ✿ COURTNEY KAY ✿ has gone above & beyond since day one, letting me borrow anything I may need for events (even when I mess up her plants 🤭), & no she doesn’t get free juices + shots bc of it. She’s a regular customer just like anyone else!! 🙂↕️
-Along with other small businesses that want to see you succeed just like them! KC & the Sunshine Co. + awardtradingco are some of my regulars & not only do they support my biz but also think of me just bc. 🥹 They both randomly surprised me with the cutest little gifts last week & it made me smile so big!!
-Celebrate your small wins because it is hard work! I work more now than I did in my 9-5 & I’m okay with that since it’s something I absolutely love. I know this is grinding season and it will all payoff one day, but sometimes I have to take a step back and realize how much I have accomplished in the last year because it is easy to forget.
-So with that, also thank you to my bestie making sure this one year mark was celebrated, so we did! She showed up with the cutest little office gift + cake. Celebrated with some music bingo + tacos at Gather GVL & it was the best time— once again, with the ladies that have been in my corner since day one and beyond. 🫶🏼 Grateful for each one & wouldn’t be me without them in my life. 🥹
