Looks at Storm Chaser's change in 2-1/2 months! I was shocked when I got this update from my customer! Now, I always felt like Storm Chaser looked like a bull, but golly, he is looking great for being 8 months old! I just love the spotting DB Chard Fiddler is putting on his calves. And apparently, Storm Chaser had taken well to halter training too!

Look how much Butterfly has changed in 9 months! Her horns are cranking out and her spots are multiplying! Looks like our herd sire, DB Chard Fiddler, loves to add color and horn to his offspring! Butterfly is 14 months and is looking great & is well taken care of! That makes me happy! 🧡

Got an update on a heifer I sold last year, Fine Pepper. She is now 14 months old (first picture). She looks so much like her dam, Plum Pepper, who is 18 months old in the second picture. The 3rd picture is Plum Pepper at 5-1/2 yrs. And the fourth is Fine Pepper's sire, DB Chard Fiddler. By just looks, Fine Pepper seems like she is speckling out (zoom in on her coat in the first picture). And it seems she might have horns longer and lower than her dam's (based on the lengths and the shape of her head). Assuming Fine Pepper's will be as fertile as her dam, this looks like a good cross, and I think Fine Pepper will be an outstanding cow. Bonus- Fine Pepper's new owners say she's one of the sweetest of the bunch. ❤️

Spicy Paprika got her name at weaning when she acted all fiery and sassy. Now at 3 years old, she's a very calm cow. Her name fits her color but not her personality anymore (thank goodness).
