I left the farm at 9am this morning, after taking care of all the animals, to deliver customer orders and didn't return until 6:30pm. It made for a long day with many pop up storms but it's rewarding knowing we just provided high quality meats to other Kentucky families. Our Customers today make me thankful that we decided to call Kentucky our home. Friendly, down to earth, and wholesome people and we appreciate each of you.
This weekend we'll be processing the last of our spring meat birds then we won't have anymore availability until the fall. In about 4 weeks all of our piglets will be gone as they've already sold out. It's the rare time we will have a little summer downtime on the farm. During this time we're going to decide how we're going to expand operations going into next year to have poultry, pork, and feeder piglets available from Spring through Fall.
