Who’s a crazy plant saver? 🙋♀️
Admit it—you love rescuing those herbs, vegetables, and flowers from the garden center when they’re way past their planting time because you just know you can save them, right?!
These habanero pepper plants were screaming for help when I found them late in the season. Then, to make matters worse, I planted them in mud while it was absolutely pouring down rain.
Then they just… hung out in the garden for two months. Maybe they grew a millimeter. Maybe.
And now—BAM! We have flowers!
I’m not saying this is best practice, but I am saying gardens thrive with folks who aren’t afraid to experiment, get a little muddy, and give a struggling plant a chance.
So keep on plant saving, friends.
