Lala and Justin’s Homestead We are a micro farm in the village of East Fairfield, VT. Our farm is on a 0.40 acre parcel. We are a ARBA registered rabbitry as Lala’s Lovely Lops.

We garden, forage, and raise pedigree Rex, Satin and VM Holland Lop rabbits.

These three went home this evening. Good thing I got that deer and it pushed off my before winter clean out. I really didnt want to process these. This is a nice starter trio for meat production. The two does are the first I’ve moved from my Reza (satin/rex) project. Everything else was either kept or processed. I’m now down to two does and my buck for that line. I really liked the broken red buck. He almost got to stay with me. But I do have his littermate sister.

One 110lb doe will be providing my family approximately 30 meals. Here are the totals for what we worked on this evening. I also have the inner loins, heart and 3 gallon sized bags I labeled dog to make a batch of food for my girl. That’s an awful lot of food and savings for my family.
