🍁🍓 A Sweet First Birthday! 🍓🍁

This little cake was made especially for a very special first birthday celebration! 🎂🥳❤️

A naturally sweetened Honey Maple Cake topped with fresh raspberries and finished with a simple, rustic look—perfect for a little one’s smash cake! 🍓🎂

I was so happy to make this sweet little cake for Stephanie Thibault and her beautiful birthday girl! ❤️ It made it even more special knowing I was making it for Macie’s best friend’s baby sister. 🥰

I love getting to create special treats for those milestone moments, especially when they’re as sweet as a first birthday!

And of course… the real question is:

Did the birthday girl enjoy her cake?! 😍🎂

🎂 When One Birthday Party Means TWO Cakes! 😂❤️

Being the daughter of a cake lady definitely has its perks… and apparently one of those perks is getting two birthday cakes! 😂🎂

My oldest girl had two different birthday celebrations this year—one with family and one with her friends—so naturally she needed a different cake for each one. 😉

🧜‍♀️💜 Family party: An under-the-sea/mermaid-inspired cake with all the pretty ocean colors, shells and sea creatures.

🦇❤️ Friend party: A completely different look with a spooky Harley Quinn/vampire-inspired theme.

Because why choose ONE theme when you can have TWO?! 😂

I may make cakes for lots of wonderful customers, but getting to make my girls’ birthday cakes will always be one of my favorite parts of being a cake mom. ❤️

And yes… she got to enjoy BOTH cakes! 🥰🎂

🌻🐝 A Little Sunshine & Sweetness 🐝🌻

I absolutely loved creating this wedding cake! ❤️

The combination of sunflowers, honeycomb, little bees and fresh flowers made this one so much fun to put together.

And I especially loved the little details on the sides, with the bees making their way around the tiers. 🐝🍯

Thank you to the happy couple for trusting T’s Cakes to be a small part of such a special day! 💍❤️

I love getting to take someone’s vision and turn it into something they can actually put on their celebration table. 🎂✨

✨ A Little Look Back at August ✨

Whew… August was BUSY! 😂🎂

Between a beautiful wedding cake, birthday cakes, decorated cookies, celebrating my oldest daughter birthday, and getting ready for another school year, there was A LOT happening in my kitchen and home!

When I’m not baking up sweet treats for T’s Cakes, I’m busy putting up some of our garden harvest! 💚

Today I’m pressure canning fresh green beans! 🫛🫙

Yes, I spend a LOT of time in the kitchen baking cakes, cookies, cupcakes and all the sweet stuff… 🎂🍪🧁

But when I’m not baking for the bakery, you can usually find me in the kitchen doing something for my own family! ❤️

Today’s kitchen project was all about CANNING! 🥒🫙

✨ Dill pickles
✨ Yellow squash relish
✨ Zucchini relish

There’s just something so satisfying about turning veggies from my own garden into jars of homemade goodness that we can enjoy long after summer is over! 🌱💚

So I guess you could say… I bake for fun AND I can for fun! 😂👩‍🍳

Mini Zucchini Breads with chocolate chips are happening today! 🍫💚

And I couldn’t decide on just ONE glaze… so I did BOTH! 😍
