Wagbo presents A free store clothing swap Annual Water Is Life Fest in Petoskey, MI Water is Life Festival, Saturday Sept 5th
Bring your gently loved clothing items to donate at the Wagbo booth at the festival and grab yourself some "new to you" garments! This free of charge exchange encourages us to think of the lifespan of our clothing items, where they come from, where they go and how we can preserve our water and environment through conscious consumption. Plus it's just fun to see your previously loved duds out in the wild living their best life with someone new! This booth is hosted by Jasmine Petrie of Jasmine Lace

On July 2, 2026, Wagbo received a special gift from a friend of Mother Earth. Jim Guyor of Boyne City gifted to Wagbo a tool of sentimental value - a hand push tiller which he used in his youth and has taken very good care and kept in good working order for decades. Jim inquired with Wagbo Administrative Officer several weeks ago, because he understood that Wagbo Farm practiced regenerative farming, which might involve manual labor. He wanted his old tiller to be of use, and he thought Wagbo might be the right home for it.
As it turns out, Wagbo recently hired a part time landscape and permaculture specialist, Matt DePalma to help out on the farm. He has worked with hand tillers before and he agreed it would come in handy at Wagbo.

After a long and strong legal battle, Governor Whitmer and her appointees have sided with corporations and dirty oil money over the Great Lakes and all its people.

Do you believe Michigan’s water is more important than the profits of a dying industry and are you willing to add your time and energy to a collective statewide grassroots effort to oppose Enbridge’s tunnel project in the Straits of Mackinac? If so join us next Sunday.

We’ll be making space to hold the intense feelings from this catastrophic attack, then taking a break and sharing refreshments.

But for the sake of water and future generations we can’t stay stuck in our sadness and grief. We’ll be closing out the day with focusing our collective power into movement organizing.
